After take a holiday just for one day, my boss said that I have to go to the factory, in other word that I go to work now. While everyone is take a long holiday, I stuck on the factory to complete all the job, but that's no problem for me, because as an employee I have to obey what the boss said. And the positive thing is I can do the posting for Piping & Fabrication and continue this blog with a whole definition about Joint Penetration, Kinematic Viscosity, etc. So, keep visiting this blog, because we will go deep and deep to the Piping and Fabrication System.
Joint Penetration.
![]() |
Joint Penetration Weld |
The minimum depth a groove weld extends from its face into a joint, exclusive of reinforcement.
Kinematic Viscosity.
The ratio of the absolute viscosity to the mass density. In the metric system, kinematic viscosity is measured in strokes or square centimeters per second. Refer to Chap. B8 of this handbook.
Laminar Flow.
Fluid flow in a pipe is usually considered laminar if the Reynolds number is less than 2000.
